My story, “Sex Thief,” was selected by Mark Bowden for inclusion in the 2006 Best American Crime Writing, alongside stories by Jimmy Breslin, Jefferey Toobin, and Skip Hollandsworth.
“Sex Thief” tells the story of Hy Doan, who managed to escape prosecution in more than six rape cases over the course of 25 years. His lawyer claimed he was simply “stealing” sex.
